January School Holidays

15 young people aged 13 years and over attended our 2008 Canoe School, forming lifelong friendships as they camped and canoed 145 kilometres down the Whanganui River from Matapuna to Pipiriki. 

The young people underwent two days of training before heading off down the river for five days of adventure, including building a waterslide into the river, and getting up close and personal with some native bats at John Coull Hut.
