January School Holidays

Since 1967, SCOUTS New Zealand's Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School has provided the highest quality aviation training in the country for budding young pilots aged 16-19. 

In 2008, 65 students attended the two-week long training camp at Matamata, where we were pleased to welcome Pilot Officer Mary Woolston of 3 Squadron RNZAF, a past Walsh student, to present our young pilots with their Wings.

Students must be New Zealand citizens and only have minimal previous flight experience.

Cost: approx $1390 for first year students or approx $430 for returning students
